Yeah training run πŸ˜‚ . I was in two minds whether to do Tatton 10k today but seeing as who knows what will be in place in the UK next week I thought I better show willing – could be the last race for a while…. . Until Fridays little XC jaunt I’ve been off the road with man-flu and a niggly groin (left side) . I’ve still got a bit of a cough & cold and my groin isn’t 100% right so I used this as a training run. First couple of miles started with a six, the rest were just easy miles to pick up the medal . Lovely morning for it and great to see some friends and club mates there from @widnesrunningclub . Some of the team hit mega PBs especially @carlosmavros19 who smashed out a 36:37 πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ’₯ . Currently sat here with ice on (I will spare you the pic 😳) so it’s back the drawing board. Hopefully get some decent training runs in this week . Last Pic – Recovery πŸ‘ŒπŸ» . Stay Safe πŸ‘ŠπŸ»

Beautiful morning and fantastic racing at the Tatton 10k, with PBs all over the place. Stellar performance from Laura Barber, 2nd Lady and smashing her PB by going well under 40 minutes (39:23). In the men’s race there was a cracking battle between Conor Donaghy (36:19) and Phil Richardson (36:31). Conor pulled away with 1k to go but both got superb PBs. Matt Spragg was next home but just beaten on chip time by another strong run from Rob Fairbanks. Impressive runs also from Simon Jackson and Jon Smalley, who deservedly broke the 40-minute barrier for the first time. Zoe Gmerek (41:47) had a super run and was second V45. Katherine Barker was 3rd Sale Lady, before a great PB from Caroline Wheeler, and then Caroline Kinghorn. Thanks to Brian Goulden and Lee Kaufman for their support on the course. Great to see so many Sale Harriers out! Apologies if I’ve missed anyone or any milestones; let me know and I’ll edit the post. CONOR DONAGHY 36:19 PB PHIL RICHARDSON 36:32 PB (by six minutes!) ROB FAIRBANKS 36:58 MATT SPRAGG 37:08 (3rd V45) SIMON JACKSON 37:55 LAURA BARBER 39:23 (2nd lady) JOHN SMALLEY 39:55 PB ZOE GMEREK 41:47 (2nd V45) KATHERINE BARKER 46:43 CAROLINE WHEELER 48:24 PB CAROLINE KINGHORN 49:54 #saleharriersmcr #tattonpark10k #tattonpark #10k #pb
