Located near Ashbourne, Derbyshire, Carsington Water is a hub of outdoor activity. Challenge yourself to a 10k or half marathon run along the glistening reservoir shores.

Track Time & Distance
Soak up stunning views of the surrounding countryside as you run either the Half Marathon or 10k event at the Carsington Water reservoir, always popular with runners, cyclists and watersport enthusiasts alike.
Both races follow an undulating route on trail paths with the half marathon starting off with an out and back before you’ll complete one full loop of the gorgeous reservoir. The 10k skips the out and back section, requiring almost one full lap of the reservoir only.
Each kilometre will be accurately marked out and we have plenty of helpers to encourage you on your way to the finish line. Included in your entry fee are a themed medal, water, official race photos, a chip-timed result and post race goodies. Come and enjoy the day with us; we hope to see you there!
